Some Good News

A story from the Associated Press is headlined:
85 Militants Killed in U.S. Raid in Iraq

The story goes on to note two more incidents in which 45 more "militants," that is, terrorist murderers, were also killed recently.

Further, the "insurgents" were killed in part by Iraqi Government forces, and the location of the camp was given to them by the local populace, AP says.

The significance of this story is not just that dozens of criminals were killed, glad tidings though they are.  It's that AP feels it must report on enemy casualties and enemy defeats.  Or perhaps I should say "allied" rather than "enemy," as the press has long since been on the side of the fascist thugs.

AP does what it can to be as discouraged as possible in this story, but the fact that they ran it at all shows that the press is discouraged about the victory prospects of its darlings.  That's very good news indeed.
