National Marxist Radio

Over at Townhall.com, Mark Alexander has a column on the various NPR commentators who criticized the Pope for being against "Liberation Theology."  Why, John Paul "Liberation Theologians" out of the Sandanista govt. of Nicaragua.  (Hat Tip: Betsy Newmark)

Notably missing is any sense that "Liberation Theology" was Marxist, that the Sandinistas were tyrants looting the country, that political opponents in Nicaragua were murdered, that the Sandinistas were receiving money from the now gone USSR (and boy, is it fun to type "now gone USSR,") to spread tyranny in other Central American countries, that the Sandinistas only held elections when forced to, and that the population of Nicaragua voted them out when they had a chance.

No, it's all about how "Liberation Theology" stood for "social justice."  Whenever you here the phrase "social justice," reach for your revolver, because someone is likely aiming to shoot YOU.

THE HOUSE OF SAUD MUST BE DESTROYED -- AND WILL BE!
