Now This is Droll

John Hinderaker of Powerline was reading the New York Times obituary of Pope John Paul II online, and spotted a production goof.

They had criticism of the Pontiff ready to go, from people like "Hans Kung, the eminent Swiss theologian, who was barred by from teaching in Catholic schools because of his liberal views," which translated into English reads "Hans Kung, a Swiss theologian whose views the Church rejected as heretical."

What the Times didn't have was anything by someone who agreed with Bishop of Rome.  Instead, there was a bold faced line that read: need some quote from supporter.

Nope, no bias here, move along.

THE HOUSE OF SAUD MUST BE DESTROYED -- AND WILL BE!
