Schiavo Memo Update

Another pointer from Kaus concerns the infamous "talking points" memo whose mystery I solved last Wednesday.

The Washington Post carefully worded their article in their paper to avoid saying anything about who wrote the memo, but sent out a version to its syndicate that flatly stated that the memo had been "distributed to Republican Senators," without bother to confirm that with a single Rep. Sen., and without bothering to notify the syndicate that the story had changed.  In fact, the editor responsible for the syndicated versions says she wasn't notified the version had changed.  And Howard Kurtz, who writes the media notes column for the Post, didn't know the syndicated version was different from the Post's own version -- nor did he bother to check before writing about the story the first two times.

The accountable, edited Main Stream Media: it doesn't let the right hand know what the left hand is doing, but the right hand defends the left hand's actions anyway!

You know, for years I've wanted an unbiased press, but I'm beginning to change my mind.  The amusement offered by these liars is now so great, I want more.

      Update: OOPS!  See here.

THE HOUSE OF SAUD MUST BE DESTROYED -- AND WILL BE!
