British Elections

      Britain is holding general elections today, and there's a very good short piece on them at this site.  The basics are succinctly explained:

Stage 1: Voters criticize Tony Blair.

Stage 2: Voters protest vehemently against Tony Blair.

Stage 3: Tony Blair calls an election and voters claim they will vote Conservative.

Stage 4: Tony Blair is reelected.
