Interesting Reactions to the "Deep Throat" Story

      Over at Poynter.org.  Two, though, shows the basic problem modern "news" organizations have with credibility

      First, see the link above, letter at 6/2/2005 1:38:18 PM:
Bob Novak should be in jail right now, alongside the board of directors of Enron;

      Maybe I'm missing something, but do any of you recall Robert Novak being tried for any crime, much less convicted?  It appears the author mistakes his opinions on what is right and wrong (and probably, what is politically desirable) for what justice and the law demand.

      Another example comes with the letter of Barbara Presley-Noble, (6/1/2005 3:23:13 PM), who slams David Gergen for . . ., well for existing, I guess.  Gergen worked for various Republican politicians, so that automatically makes him a bad guy.

      The suggestion on Roger L. Simon's blog about reporting "Just the facts" looks better and better.

THE HOUSE OF SAUD MUST BE DESTROYED -- AND WILL BE!
