No to Jew Hatred: A Statement of Principle

The Democratic Party has become a bastion of Jew hatred.  While this goes on, no morally serious person can vote for a Democrat.

At Length:

On Thursday, June 16th, various Democrats held mock "impeachment hearing" in the Capitol, to express their frustration with George Bush's foreign policy.  That, in and of itself, is merely pathetic.

But what is outrageous is that one of their invited "witnesses" said the Iraq Campaign is part of a joint U.S./Israel plot to "dominate that part of the world."   Meanwhile:
At Democratic headquarters, where an overflow crowd watched the hearing on television, activists handed out documents repeating two accusations -- that an Israeli company had warning of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks and that there was an "insider trading scam" on 9/11 -- that previously has been used to suggest Israel was behind the attacks.

While this disgusting bigotry continues, no morally serious person can vote for a Democrat.  The Democratic Party must purge the Jew haters from its ranks.

Yeah, I know, various Dems are now claiming they had no idea McGovern would say any such thing, or that the "activists" the Democrats invited to their headquarters would make such accusations.  I don't believe it.  But even if true, I don't care.  When McGovern made his statement, the Dems should have tossed his Nazi ass out of the room, immediately.  Similarly, the names of the "activists" should have been taken, and the Democrats should have publicly denounced them as swine, made it a policy not to have anything to do with them, and otherwise harassed them.

I repeat: no morally serious person can vote for a Democrat while this disgusting bigotry continues.

Update: The American Thinker has more on Democratic Jew hatred.
