Christopher Hitchens Does It Again

In his latest Slate column, he asks if anyone really believes the some of the wilder Democratic fantasies?  If so, they're stupider than Jimmy Carter.

You know, once I wouldn't have believed that last sentence described a possible event, but Dana Milbank and Walter Pincus surprised me.  They apparently thought that when Congress voted to authorize Bush to attack Iraq, the solons expected Saddam to remain in power after the war.

I think that will keep me amused all day.
